5.0 out of 5 stars Makes all the difference!!!
I bought this product after being somewhat disappointed with the flat beater which came with the Kitchenaid. With the normal flat beater, I was having to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl several times during the mixing process for cakes and biscuits and almost felt let down after having desired my Kitchenaid for years before I could actually afford it...

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit our model
We have a KitchAid Heavy Duty model K5SS. Unfortunately, the web site doesn't list the model number. The Blade we received (KA-TH Pro) doesn't fit our model. The models it does fit are listed on the package but not the web page. We had to return the Beaterblade Pro. No one at Amazon could tell use which model the Beaterblades fit.

Well, within seconds of using my new beater blade I felt relief and excitement that the Kitchenaid was finally working as it should. This product scrapes the sides and bottom automatically producing lovely fluffy results. Highly recommended for anyone who bakes a lot.

Finally I don't have to scrape my bowl anymore! I just needed to adjust the height of the tilthead and that was it :)
Glad I found it! Just wish it would be metal rather than plastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have Kitchenaid Accessory, January 12, 2010

We ordered the BeaterBlade Pro but received the standard version. Not to worry though, the folks at BeaterBlade promptly shipped us the correct blade. We used it for the first time tonight and I have to say, I'm impressed. The batter mixed up promptly with no areas of left unmixed. The mixer needed a little bit of adjustment to make the head low enough to properly scrape the bowl, but that was no trouble. You should heed the instructions and make SMALL adjustments because a little bit goes a long way. Another note; we used the shield that was included with our mixer and had no problem with a flour explosion as mentioned in reviews of the standard BeaterBlade.

Does well on regular size bowls. Does decent job on the smaller bowl (only scrapes one side??). I bought two and got one for my mom for Christmas, she loves it too. Now we don't have to stop mixing, tilt head and scrape with a spatula, just let it run, yea!

I've used this blade several times since I got it, mostly for mixing icing and cake batters. I am very satisfied with the performance of the blade. It is so nice not to have to scrape the icing or batter off the side of the bowl. The blade takes care of it! I know I've been getting a good mix because I've tinted the icing and it blends it very quickly. This was worth the money I paid for it. It's the best tool I've added to my cake baking equipment since I bought a stand mixer.

This is a great product. I was unhappy with my mixer because of the frequent need to scrape the sides of the bowl while mixing. This beater blade solves that problem & results in an even creamier texture with no unbeaten residue.

Received the beater blade in time for Christmas. It certainly adds to the efficiency of the KitchenAid. Now, the mixes for cakes, cookies, and breads will be mixed thoroughly. Thank you for the product!

OK, I've only used it once, but if it holds up as well as everyone says, it will be a favorite in my kitchen.

I tried it out on some peanut butter cookies . . . tossed in the shortening, peanut butter, sugar, etc, and creamed it all together. I love the "thwack thwack thwack as it contacts the sides of the bowl. Added the dry ingredients and everything came beautifully. The dough clumped a bit on the blade, but it didn't climb the bowl and there was NOTHING clinging to the sides or bottom. It was scraped cleaner than if I'd used a spatula by hand. And a quick hand wash cleaned the beater blade easy as could be.

I'm looking forward to using this a LOT!

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-Have for Cake and Cookie Bakers, December 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: New Metro Design Beater Blade Pro Food Service and Restaurant Use KitchenAid Tilt Head Models (Kitchen)
I bought this to replace the New Metro Design Beater Blade for KitchenAid 5-Quart Tilt-Head Mixers, Pink that broke after about two years of frequent use. This new one is sturdier and can plow through not-so-thoroughly-softened butter much better than my old one. It may feel like it fits a little too tightly with the bowl but that is how it is supposed to be so it can scrape the bowl clean with every stroke. It fits so snugly that it "squeaks" when you first turn on the mixer but once the butter starts going, the squeaking stops and does a beautiful job of scraping the bowl as it goes.

This is in my opinion a must-have for frequent cake and cookie bakers (only for creaming butter and sugar though, use the metal beater for mixing the cookie dough).

I bake all the time and when I saw this in Cooking Light magazine I knew I had to have this for my KitchenAid mixer. It is one of the best kitchen tools I've every purchased! Why KitchenAid doesn't include this tool in their mixer is beyond me! Great invention! It scrapes the sides and bottom of my bowl with ease. LOVE IT! You won't be disappointed!
