More than 500,000 Hexadome(tm) structures are in use throughout the world since the publication of this book in the 1970's ! Copies available include the autograph of the inventor, Dr. Gene Hopster, and some are new, some are used. An excellent investment for those who want to build an outstanding modern home.

I actually built the dome given in the plans in this book. It didn't turn out quite as nice as the one pictured in the book but it was nice considering I had never built anything much other than a storage building before. I learned alot along the way. If I had a little more money to work with a think the dome would have been very nice indeed. The total turn key price was $8,875.00 for a livable house. It took about 18 months to prefab the compotes and 6 months to complete after the basic structure was up. My wife and I where the sole construction crew after several Friends helped with putting up the basic structure. It served us quite well until we finally split up about 8 yr's after it was finished.(not the domes fault)

If you try you can build one based on this book too. A 32' diameter dome with 6' knee walls has room for a second floor and lots of room to grow.
