The picture of the book is about 1/2 actual size. There are many images in the book, but they are very small and the book is very small. Definitely more of a stocking stuffer gift than a wrap in a box gift. Disappointed for the price I paid.

They did have some great nail designs, but it didn't come with the stickers that it said it would. Most of the designs require air brush and I wanted hand painted ideas.

So,I started doing nails and I wanted a book with designs and I thought that this would be a good book that started for beginners and advanved. But that was not the case. I was pretty dissapointed. But i was more so disappointed that there are sooooo many repeat pages. there should be about 1000 different designs. I think that there are about 850. All in all this was an okay perchase. But not the best for what I paid.

I just got this book and already I love it. It is much, much smaller than I thought it would be, and I didn't really pay attention to the cover so I didn't know it would be in Chinese (at least I think it is Chinese), but that is really my fault. Can't blame anyone for something I didn't see. Visually, it is a wonderful little picture book. My only issue is that some of the pictures are too small to see the extent of the detailing, but again, not that big an issue. And some of the colors on some of the pictures really wash out against the background. It's adorable, easy to carry, and given me a ton of ideas while making me very jealous of the lucky people in the other country at the same time. I like this book and I think you will too.

The wording is in Korean, but who cares the designs are great. My mother in law loved the book!

Like the others, I was a bit mislead by the listing on this book. First of all - it's TEENY TINY! The measurements are in CM, not INCHES, so beware! I feel a bit tricked because I didn't notice that (my fault I suppose), but I guess I was distracted by the indicated weight of 1.7 pounds. Huh?!?!? If that tiny book weighs 1.7 ounces, I'd eat my shoe! LOL

That said, the book IS really cool - lots of great, tiny photos, if you have a magnifying glass handy. Also, as Bella said, the designs are more for airbrushing techniques - not for the average non-professional artist looking for ideas to handpaint yourself. Lesson here: read the reviews BEFORE you buy!

Bottom line - the wee book was shipped out quickly, in all it's tiny perfection. I'd be ranting if I hadn't gotten the free super saving shipping through Amazon. The $16.95 price is pretty steep for this book. Unless you are a professional nail designer, pass on this book :( PS, if you are looking for a dollhouse miniature, this book would be fantastic! LOL

Yes, this book is small. However, it is packed with gorgeous examples of nail art to get your creative juices flowing. Would also be great for clients to take to the nail tech/artist as an example of what you want on your own nails.

I was very dissapointed. This book is smaller than a 5x7 and it doesn't open well so you can't leave the book open so that you can study the picture while you work. There are no instructions. It's just a picture book. I can download pictures off the computer. Returning this asap.

I was excited to get it thinking I could have OODLES of ideas and I did, just never thought it was going to be SO SMALL the pictures are bright and big enough but quite honestly for $17 it's not that cute....mines well google what you want.
