This is an awesome book I bought for my children, currently ages 8 and under, although the book says it is for ages 9 and up. This book is laid out beautifully and has tabs for easy reference. I think every school child should have this book! I am interested in graphic design and have even been reading it myself. This book is not cutesy and does not talk down to children. It gives them real vocabulary and explains the design process and even gives some projects to try and history. I love this book and plan on getting more from this company. I've already got the World of Design book by them too.

This book is more like Graphic Design 101. The 'for kids' was totally slapped on as an after thought because this book is far too advance for any child! It is possible a teen would be able to appreciate this OR an adult just getting into graphic design and wanting a quick and easy overview. The layout is fun and includes tabs for the different sections which is a nice touch.
