my original beater grew feet & walked away, found this one & ordered it. Love how it actually scrapes the sides & would have given it 5 stars for that, except I am concerned that I will break it if I use it for very heavy doughs even though it is the sturdier version of this, so I did go & order another original version for the heavy-heavy stuff like gingerbread & oatmeal cookie doughs, but other than those sorts of doughs I have used this & love it.

I have had a kitchenaid professional mixer for years and I love it. I really!really! love it NOW! I just purchased the new Metro Design Beater Blade profood service. This blade scrapes the sides and the bottom of the bowl perfectly.The mixing is so through. My batters are perfect with little or now stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl. Thank you to whoever designed this beater,you knew how to make our work easier!I have a small bake business and Kitchenaid is always the first choice for me.

The first time I saw these advertised I knew I had to have one. I bought this yellow version as it is the professional quality that can take the extra abuse a lot of use can give it. They are available in every style for every KitchenAid mixer. It works as advertised! No more scraping the mixing bowl!

I am very happy so far with my Beater Blade Pro for the 6 quart model. I used it a few times so far and one time was with a thick cookie dough. I am enjoying not having to scrape down the bowl to incorporate the ingredients on the sides and very bottom of the bowl.

I was a bit worried as my mixer is an older K5SS with no ability to adjust the bowl. But it worked perfectly. Definitely mixes much better than the standard paddle. Glad I bought it.

I have seen these units on-line for less than $10. The first one I bought at a kitchen supply store.....it broke. The next one I bought on-line for $11.....it broke. I paid $40 for this one, because the description indicated it wah "the Professional Model, and made of more durable material"......it broke. I think we may be done buying these now.

my only complaint about my kitcheAid was you had to consistanly scrape the sides of the bowl...with this...no longer an issue ! great product

Love it! Works great and no scraping. I had heard about this on NPR and it's all it's cracked up to be.

Works as advertised but it is made if plastic and I hardly think it is for commercial use. I like how it works but I don't expect it will last long since I use my my commercial mixer every day.

Well I must say my wife and son were very pleased with this purchase. The bowl sides stayed clean so all of the batter was used. Cleaning of the beater blade was a breeze. My son is interested in baking and my wife is an excellent cook and baker. This beater blade speeds up the prep time and allows for more production. At times we prep food for for up to 100 guests.
