The book is a great reference source for basic information about in ground sprinkler irrigation. The book does a good job of walking you through the process of designing and installing a sprinkler system. The section dealing with planning what type of sprinkler heads and where to place them was rather weak. More detailed information on sprinkler head placement and I would have given the book five stars.
