'Design? Wines!', organized by the Brazilian authors Gustavo Piqueira and Marco Aurelio Kato from the studio REX Design, is the first book of the 'Design?' collection, published by REX Livros, the Publishing House from REX Design studio. Through the traditional format of products compilation from a specific segment, the book plays with the current ultra-rationalization of concepts based on testimonials of marketing and designers professionals as well as consumers. First of all, the fun selection of wines is far from the sophistication and fanciness that we usually associate in the spirits universe. Secondly, the testimonials appeal to the sense of humor using jargons and cliches, portraying fun and fictional points of views of both marketing and design renowned professionals and the consumers. The result is a pleasant and fun reading experience that raises questions about how the language can change perceptions.
