Everything you need is included - a 24" solid wood skateboard, black grip tape, specialized non-toxic paints and instructions. The skateboard comes fully assembled with wheels and metal trucks. With this kit, kids can paint creative personal designs right onto their skateboard - then go out and skate! With the increased interest in skateboarding and the desire for kids to always want to personalize their own skateboard, we set out to create a craft kit that combines the excitement of skateboarding with creative design. Kids can paint the board any way they desire, then cut the black non-skid tape in and shape they like and stick it anywhere on the board. The skateboard is a nice quality all wood board with metal trucks, so that no matter how the kids design the boards, they always will have a real board to go out and skate on. It is always important for kids to know and parents to remind them, that when skate boarding, just like many other activities, it is important to where the correct protective gear. Enjoy!

The Design Your Own Skateboard Kit includes a solid 24" wood skateboard with metal trucks, specialized non-toxic paint, brushes, non-skid black grip tape, and instructions.

The Design Your Own Skateboard Kit comes shrink-wrapped in a corrugated green box with a four-color product label. The product label has 4-color graphics of kids skateboarding and covers the entire front of the box.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Unwrap plastic from skateboard.
2) Get a piece of newspaper or similar covering to place over the table or floor where you will be painting.
3) Decide what kind of design or decoration you want to paint on the board. Remember you have to place the black grip tape on the board.
4) Have fun painting your board. Once you finish, let paint dry for 4-6 hours. Once paint has dried to the touch, you can start sticking on the black grip tape.
5) Cute the black grip tape with a regular pair of scissors into any shape or form desired.
6) Remove backing from grip tape to expose sticky side. Note: Place stick tape in front and back portion of board where feet will be placed.
7) Place cut grip tape on skateboard and press down hard for good adhesion.
8) Now your ready to skate - REMEMBER TO ALWAYS WERE PROTECTIVE GEAR. (helmet, knee pads, elbow and wrist pads, etc.)
9) Ride safely and responsibly. Be aware of hazards and use caution.

This board is nothing but junk. Dont buy it. The deck is like a piece of flimsy plywood. The bearing are horrible. the trucks aren't even good enough for grinding. The wheels are loose. The deck split in half when i was on the halfpipe. Dont buy this board, i was highly diapionted.

I purchased this skateboard for my grandson who is 3. Other skateboards are too big and this is the perfect first skateboard. He was so excited, he wanted to bring it to school to show his teachers. He wanted to paint it himself and had a blast. His mom said the only thing that she thought could improve was the paintbrush. The bristles were stiff, but she is an artist and had other paintbrushes, so no problem. I am going to purchase another one right now, because he has a little brother and he wants some action too! For the price, and taking into consideration, his first board, this is perfect.

I bought this last year for one grandson and I was so impressed that I bought two more as Christmas presents for the other guys. It's very small but it's fun for them to be creative and do a little skate boarding too. It's not good for teens but okay for tweens.
