I just got this and it is not as cute as it looked in the picture at all. The edges of the case purse a bit around the corners too.

It's alright, it's functional and fits the 12" really nicely. But given the ability to travel back in time, I would have buy a different sleeve, especially for the price.

Why does one purchase a 12" notebook? To make it easier to carry. For that reason, one needs something to protect it AND transport it within another bag (carry-on, briefcase, backpack, etc) WITHOUT adding bulk. This Sleeve fits the bill, and I can pack it in my large camera bag, taking it to remote areas without worry. Note that this is dedicated to the 12" Powerbook. Purchasers must note that this IS a sleeve; it is ONLY for the Powerbook and no peripherals.

I just bought the 14" version of this for my 14" iBook and I was very disappointed. There were a lot of problems with this sleeve:
1. It's specifically supposed to fit my 14" iBook, but it doesn't. It has 2" too much space all around - no snug fit.
2. It's supposed to have padded protection for the laptop but the flap that closes the sleeve is not padded - which means if the laptop hits a surface on that side, there is no protection.
3. It's supposed to be waterproof but only the fabric is waterproof - the way the bag is constructed, water can easily seep in at the flap (there is no zipper).

Needless to say, I'm sending this back!
