Are you a little worried about dinner guests opening your medicine cabinet? Do you have a yard that attracts trespassers, despite the imposing-looking gate that protects it? If so, consider Design Tech's Motion Alert, which alerts users whenever a monitored object is moved for any reason. Whether your concern is home security, protecting your children from dangerous household items (such as cleaning supplies), or simply frustrating would-be snoopers, the Motion Alert monitors doors, gates, cabinets, furniture, equipment, or any other object you deem worthy of supervision. Mounted horizontally, the transmitter activates with even the slightest movement; mounted vertically, the transmitter requires a tilt of 20 degrees or more to activate. Once it detects movement, the receiver sounds either a continuous alarm or a door chime sound until reset. Users can program up to 16 additional sensors to monitor several objects at once; each sensor is miniature and weatherproof and has a 500-foot range. In addition, each sensor can be set to either low or high sensitivity. Simply secure sensors to objects with the double-sided foam tape or screws, plug the receiver into a wall outlet, and monitor away.
