Special Agent Mercedes Cudjo is back! This time she's tracking what appears to be a team of assassins who apparently take pleasure in doing their jobs well. Not only is the clock ticking, but the body count is growing. If that weren't enough, Special Agent Cudjo finds herself linked in more ways than one to this case. Is it a sheer coincidence? Or has she become compromised?
"Designated Hitters" written by Flex and Crystal Perkins-Stell adds a new viewpoint to fulfilling contracts. I truly enjoyed the assortment of lively characters, drama and power provided in the story. I found myself cheering for the ill-famed and couldn't wait to see what we'd encounter next. Be cautious, while you may think you know, looks can truly be deceiving. "Designated Hitters" is earnest and definitely a book worth adding to `your to be read' pile.
