These shelves gave amazing look to my wall mounted 60" LED TV, it can hold up to 4 components if mounted correctly, at lease my kids will not pull everything off this time, it also looks really nice on the wall.

I have purchase about 10 of these already.. I am a low voltage cable installer, we sell high end DVR system. I was looking for a Simple shelving unit that we could sit our unit, something deep enough for all four corner to fit, also something that look like the end end unit we sell.. Well the search is over, this is a WELL put together unit, simple to install and looks like a million dollar. My hats off to the design you thought this through. I love this Product... and the company the sold it to me...

I'll have to agree with the other reviews. This is marketed as a game system shelf, but really isn't quite big enough for (some) current game systems. the wiring channels in the back are small but i just left the retaining tabs out of it and wrapped the wires around tightly and it doesn't look that bad. i am posting pictures too. i think for the money (i paid approx 50) all in all its not a bad unit and not bad looking, but it would be nice to see minor improvements.

Purchased to go under tv and hide wires. Wanted something sturdy and quality. Beyond expectations. Very sturdy, excellent quality... EZ to install. 4 screws and you are up. Put shelves on which also attach securely. hides wires. Looks beautiful.

Highly recommend. By the way it does not stick out very far at all. From the shelf back edge to the wall maybe .5 inches.

Buy it! Priced very right also...

Several reviews have stated that they found that the shelves were too small. I measured the shelves, and they are exactly the size listed. These shelves complement my system. Nice, thick, black tempered glass shelves. Sturdy steel construction. I bolted to a stud behind my dry wall.

There are several things that may not be apparent if you don't go over the entire assembly instructions before starting:

1. Three soft washers are in amongst the parts bag. They are very important for the screwing down of the glass shelves to the brackets. They are very small, and a couple were pressed together.

2. It's important to use a level to mount the backbone of the shelf assembly. Very important to the final result.

3. When screwing the brackets to the backbone, use a level across the arms. When the two screws on each bracket are tight, but not totally secured, twist and adjust the shelves for level before final cinching of each screw, otherwise the shelves will tilt when assembling the glass shelves to the brackets.

Note: do not over tighten the screws and plastic washers securing the glass.

I used these shelves, which complement my black glass equipment shelves, to hold my cable DVR, U-verse router and on one shelf I mounted a region-free Panasonic DVD player whose feet just fit the glass, and on top I put my Sony Blu-ray 3d player. DVDs don't generate heat. The Panasonic's DVD feet just fit the glass, so there is a one-inch overhang on the sides. Still looks very nice, and they are at a height where I can stand to insert media.

This is a very sturdy shelf system, and the hidden wiring is a great plus.

I just hung the shelf tonight, so I can't give a long-term report. So far, so good, though.

You will need a drill with a 1/8" bit, as well as a level (the last thing you want is a crooked shelf holding your electronics, so use the level throughout the project to get this right the first time). You'll also need a stud finder if you're installing this on drywall.

The wall mount is very sturdy. I reduced my rating by one star because the shelf bracket is friction mounted to the wall mount using two really REALLY short little bolts. The skeptic in me questions whether those tiny little bolts holding everything together with friction are really up to the task. We'll see...

Overall, this is not a difficult installation. All the hardware you need is included. The instructions could be written better at times, but you'll figure it out. I had some mid-level frustration with the tiny bolts that need to be tightened with the included allen wrench. I'm a woman with average-size hands; I'm not sure how a guy with really big hands would be able to get the little screws in there and twist the allen wrench around in fairly close quarters. Good luck with that! :-)

IMPORTANT: Before you buy this, you should know that the "Maintenance" section of the instructions says, "You should check whether screws are fixed well every two months." In other words, keep that allen wrench nearby, because as long as this shelf is up, you need to keep tightening the friction screws, or this thing could come crashing down. (Deep sigh.) Had I known that before I bought it, I probably would have gone with another product. (I worry that I'll watch my cable box crash to the floor and then slap myself on the forehead thinking, "Yeah, it's probably been more than two months since I tightened those *&%$#@#!* friction bolts! DOH!")

Anyway, just know that the wall bracket is secure, but the bracket that holds up your glass is attached to it with a friction mount using two REALLY short bolts -- and this means you're making a lifetime commitment to check those screws every 2 months.

The shelf was easy to install into a wall stud, seems to be very sturdy. I checked the dimensions and description and based on what i read it sounded like it would hold a game console, but it does not.

I've attached a picture of a PS4 so you can see the front does stick off the glass and this is with it pushed all the way back. Cable boxes and other very small DVD players and things will fit fine, but game consoles will not.

Other than size, it's a nice shelf and if it was large enough I would give it 5 stars.

I am redecorating my Master bedroom; this includes a new hardwood floor, repainting, new furniture and flat panel TV. My wife thought she was on one of those shows or something; everything had to be perfect and of good quality.

So when we got to the TV we needed something for the Cable box, this product worked excellent, I will buy another one for another room. I am a very critical person and looked extensively for a product like this one that didn't stick to far off the wall (low profile) this product met my expectations.

Good Job to the company.

Ive bought several of these and for the price they cant be beat. This silver one is slightly cheaper in price than the black model.

Quality: the 2 glass shelves are tempered glass for safety and are a good thickness. Not thin at all. Dark black in color and the edges are rounded smooth for safety. No jagged sharp edges. The metal bracket that goes into the wall is made of aluminum. Basic in design but adequate. Even comes with plastic things for wire management. These are a bit cheap and flimsy. Then there are 2 sturdy metal brackets that hold the glass shelves to the wall bracket. They have rubber pads on them to protect the glass. Only one screw holds the glass to the shelf bracket. Comes with all the necessary hardware to install. All you need is the tools.

Installing the wall bracket to the wall is easy. The hardest part is attaching the metal shelf bracket to the wall bracket. Like I said I've bought a few of these and the first one I bought didn't come with instructions. Neither is there a website to view the instructions. It took me a long time to figure it out but I did it. On the other ones I bought they did come with instructions so hopefully yours has the instructions. Everything else is straightforward and easy to install.

Once installed the shelves are a good size for most electronics. On some cases the shelves aren't deep enough for certain things like satellite boxes although they will "fit" but sticking out a bit.

I wasn't impressed with the quality and look of the plastic wire management tabs. They look ugly and are very cheap. Also there really isn't enough room there for lots of wires or cables. Instead I made small holes in the wall and routed the cables in the wall to the TV. It was a much cleaner look.

For the price they strongly deserve 5 stars although over all in terms of design and quality I would rate them as 3-4 stars. Don't expect a premium product and I think you will be highly satisfied.
