Review
A savvy, down to earth tale about taking chances and realizing your dreams. -- Rendezvous, May 1999
Dar Tomlinson has garnered much praise for her sensitive treatment of interracial themes in her previous romances. While DESIGNER PASSION touches on the hero's partial Native American heritage in his relationship with the young boy, Adam, and mentions the heroine's Jewish heritage, these factors are not a source of conflict for them. They do give a realistic diversity to the often homogenous world of the romance novel. This is an exciting, well written book about business, fashions, family, betrayal and love; one that sweeps the reader along to the satisfying end. -- Romance Communications, April 1999
Dar Tomlinson has written a heart-tugging romance that breaks down ethnic stereotypes and proves once again that love is the greatest liberator. -- Romantic Times, May 1999
