Should not have ignored previous review about damaged Riser. Typical hard plastic is fine but lack of design quality as it pertains to the storage tray. 1)Initial shipment, received damaged storage tray, 2)Called Fellowes directly - very kind and forwarded additional Riser at no cost, 3)With what seemed to be secure packaging, still!! damaged tray.
If you don't care about the storage tray, the riser serves it's purpose and actually provides more functionality space without the tray.

I received mine damaged. The small drawer that is used to hold small items was damaged and unusable. I didn't really need that part of it anyway but kind of makes you mad. I don't believe that it was damaged in shipment, if it was it was because it is so delicate that it will not hold up to the average bouncing around that happens when an item is shipped. These work great for putting an Apple Cinema Display next to an iMac. I will be buying a few more of these but keep in mind it's not built like a piece of furniture, it's plastic but heavy plastic at that.

The Designer Suites Monitor Riser was perfect for our new 32" flat screen TV. It extended high enough to fit our cable box and DVD player under it. This worked out much better for us than all the other risers we saw, and at a much better price. Great find!

I used to have a stand that's made of a book on top of a box, it was still not right height for my screen. I had to lift my shoulder slightly when I type... This Fellowes stand works perfectly.

I am quite pleased with this monitor stand. I looked at quite a few before I made a purchase. Most felt cheap and poorly constructed. This stand is solid. The drawer in front is useless and poorly made, but the basic riser is just great. It matches my monitor and looks good in my office.

I ordered this not to place a monitor on it but put a PC Desktop mini tower. Don't ask me why, but it works great. I got a Dell XPS Studio 8100 with a larger Dell 23" LCD monitor. Having both on my two layer computer hutch with little room, just clogged up my work space and I had to put my tower behind the monitor to fit. This was just a pain, as I had to move the monitor to get to the tower.

I needed to place the tower onto my carpeted floor below the monitor. So I took a chance and ordered this unit. Works great. The tower fits perfectly on it, and it's off the ground enough where I do not have to bend over much to place my DVDs, CDs etc in, as well as using other functions on my unit. I placed it in a way, I can use the drawer that came with it to store parts and pc tools I need easy access too for my unit as well as small headsets for my media center. Very happy with this purchase. Now LCD monitor has been moved further from my eyes, and easier on the eyes when using keyboard. This purchase was alot cheaper that buying another PC desktop hutch desk.

After much searching, I finally found this riser online and it is the perfect size for my computer cart.

Needed something that wasn't too deep, or too wide. It's very easy to adjust the height to the perfect level for me. It not only has room to set my monitor on top, but for a calculator & notepad, pens, etc. as well. The small pull-out tray is handy for small sticky-note pads, paper clips, etc., and there's room to store a stapler, paper, a calculator, etc., underneath. It's also very sleek looking.

Although I'd have preferred to spend a little less money, it has turned out to be money well spent and it was not one of the more expensive ones that are out there - none of which would have suited my needs as well as this one.

I bought this after I saw that my coworker was pleased with it. I read other reviews and people said that the drawer had arrived broken or that the unit had arrived defective in one way or another. Thankfully I didn't have that experience and I am happy with my purchase.

I use the drawer to store my pens and some important notes that I always need to keep handy. I don't use the risers since it's a good height for my desk and monitor... no more neck strain!

Highly recommend since it's not an expensive stand

Works great as my monitor was not height adjustable - makes a big difference on a big monitor to have it closer to the center height of your face. Especially 27" Samsung monitors have noticeable color shift from top to bottom.
