Not really too much to say about the book. It is exactly what it says it is, a book full of two story home plans, with purchasing options and order forms.

My wife and I are in the process of searching for land to build a home and wanted a book of plans to peruse to find something we like. This is one of several books we purchased from different designers. That's key, if you're looking for varying house plans be sure to get a book created by a different architect firm and designers. Otherwise you'll likely see the same or very similar plans. On the plus side, you have the option of buying plans that can be modified by the contractor or the architects. The firm's contact information is also available and you can contact them directly for plans more in line with what you're looking for. For us, that's a big kitchen open to the formal living room with no formal dining room.

Overall I'm satisfied with the book and it is exactly what it says it is: A big book of two story house plans ranging in size from less than 1800 sq feet to over 4000 sq feet.

Funny story, we found a house plan very similar to the house we live in only smaller. When we looked through our mortgage papers and found the contractor that built our neighborhood, we found he used plans designed on his website by the architects that assembled this book and actually found the book with our exact house plan on Amazon. The smaller version of our house was really close to what we were looking for and the design problems I see in our house can be avoided should we choose one of the plans here.

I use the book as reference material to work on my house, it give a little help for me only.

A good reference tool when you are searching for an ideal floor plan. I would not use this book by itself, but it is a good addition to all of the various floor plan books that can be purchased.
