OK, so before you buy any LED light to replace an incandescent bulb, be absolutely sure what the application will be for the bulb. If you check out the specifications for this bulb, you will note an output of 72 Lumens. Compare this with a standard incandescent PAR20 of 550 lumens and you can see that there is WAY less light from this bulb.

A lot of LED lights do not have anywhere near the light output of a 'normal' bulb. This bulb would be fantastic for accent or mood lighting, but disastrous when lighting a kitchen.

These bulbs are just what I wanted. They work very well for lighting our 24/7 workspace at night, and they only pull 1.5 watts. I have two of them in cheap clip-on desk lamps pointed straight at the ceiling, and I can read just fine while maintaining a night-time ambiance that's quiet and restful for coworkers who are on-call, but allowed to sleep. If the office blows up with activity at night, we switch on all of the overhead lights, and get to work. But when it's quiet, we use just these two LED bulbs, and carry on with normal tasks.

The other reviewers seemed to be uncertain about what they were ordering, and gave these bulbs low ratings because they didn't meet expectations. That doesn't seem fair, but Amazon does not provide enough specific information on the product page. There's no indication of color, temperature, or anything on the product page. The bulbs are marked with a color temperature of "6400k," which puts them in the "cool daylight" category. I really like that kind of light, but sometimes it's a shock to people who prefer softer or warmer light.

The price was right(ish) and that why I got these. It wasn't clear to me that the color is a Cool White (translation: blueish White) which will likely clash with any decor other than modern. Light output is alright and not really bright but usable. The bulb does not work well with dimmers and while maintaining a contant brightness over much of the dimmer range, it also simply doesn't work with electronic dimmers like the Aspire (the lack of an incandescent load actually turns the light on even when it's supposed to be off).

my heart was in the right place, but these bulbs are so white, they appeared blue. too cool for the warm reception area I wanted to utilize them in. nothing wrong with the bulbs themselves (although one did arrive cracked)but i didn't end up using them.

I am using this lighting to accent the front door and I needed a light that would not attract bugs like an incandescent bulb. Low power consumption and not too bright like the halogen bulbs were also major considerations in the purchase of this bulb.

I have this light for a night light in a floor lamp. It shines a spot on the ceiling that gives the room just enough light to find your way around without stubbing your toes. It's not enough light to read by, unless you put it in a goose neck desk lamp and point it right at your book, but it serves the purpose I bought it for. Screws in to a standard lightbulb socket, and stays cool to the touch. The color is more of a blue light than an incandescent bulb.

My house is filled with LED lights that are mostly on track light strips containing from 2 to 8 LED bulbs each. I use them everywhere with the exception of areas that have electronic dimmers since dimmable LEDs are so costly at this time and these bulbs are not designed to be used with dimmers. I purchased this light to replace 1 of 8 LEDs in a track light strip over one of my cooktops. The other LEDs are angled all over the island and are a mixture of 1.3 and 1.7 watt LED bulbs. I needed a more powerful LED directly over the gas burners so I gave this product a try. This LED is very bright Bulb and was perfect for my need at that location. I have a few other locations that I will purchase more of this product for in the future.

I foolishly ordered 8 of these things. They're too dim for the bath (intended place), too dim for table lamps, too dim for over-the-stove... they're just to darn DIM! Of the 8 ordered, 1 was cracked and 1 was broken. Not worth the postage to return... or maybe not!

Description says 24 LEDs, 1.5 watts. Package says 36 LEDs, 2.5 watts. Hmmm. Close enough to what I ordered to keep it, but I wonder if it was a typo or overstock being dumped? Either way, these bulbs are cheaper, less power, and less bright than the "Miracle LED" bulbs. These have a wider beam and they are closer in color to incandescent (much less "blue", maybe even too yellow). It all depends on what you need. Hopefully this comparison will help you decide which to buy! Another reviewer said the light was blue and no one else has mentioned the wrong number of LEDs, so it's likely there are several different bulbs being sold from the same product page. Buy all you want at once to be sure they're all the same, eh?

These bulbs are adequate for my purposes.

Be aware, they are not very bright but they do provide plenty of light in a dark area.

I use these for my motion activated security lamps along side my home. They are also a good value for their price. I wish I could measure how much power they actually draw but I'm certain it less than the 100 watt floods they replaced and not so annoying when the come on as the 100 watters would wake me every time.
