This 10-LED rechargeable solar panel shed light offers 100,000 hours of light. It is ideal for the home, garage, or workplace to automatically and easily illuminate any area to ensure safety and security, all while utilizing solar power. Comes complete with 3 AA rechargeable batteries.

Product Description

Bring light to your dark shed, without having to connect to your local power grid. This LED shed light features 10 bright LED's that are powered via a solar panel. The panel can be placed in direct sunshine with the included 20-foot extension cord. Mount the light on the ceiling or wall for maximum flexibility, or use it as a utility light for a work bench. A pull chain allows easy on and off. A switch on the body lets you select between 10 LED's that last 2 hours, or 5 LED's that last 4 hours. The LED's have an average rated life of 100,000 hours, ensuring years of continuous use. The solar panel has a glass cover for protection in wet locations. Includes three AA rechargeable batteries and all mounting hardware. This fixture is approved for damp location use as defined by the National Electric Code. I can see why there is a dichotomy with the ratings. We purchased two of these for our detached garage. One of the lights gives off a relatively bright light, enough to find one's way around with ease at night. The other light was not as bright. The light has a hi-lo switch, and even on the 'hi' setting, the dud-light gave off only a dim glow. We did not return it for another light because after the hastle of installing this light with the solar panel on the roof, it didn't seem that important to us. For future purchasers, remember to give it a test run before installing.

Advertised as having a 20ft cord...at best it's only 16ft!
Pivot mount for the solar panel is totally useless...very poor design!
There was a 6 inch "L" shaped treaded metal rod included with the hardware with no instuctions on what's it for! The light works well so far...not real bright but good enough to find things.

I love a product that just works when you pull it out of the box. This is one of those. I put mine in the greenhouse to provide night lighting and it does a great job. Worth every penny.
