An excellent photo essay on this interesting subject. As in all of Cathorine Childers' books on the master jewelers, this one is no disappointment. Interesting bio's of founders and current designers, as well as fascinating history of these designers of time. Highly recommended for reading and coffee table display.

Perhaps I misunderstood the description of the book but I expected a more historical approach. I was disappointed by page after page of photos of more recent very expensive timepieces. A boring display of beautifully photographed watches.
