Win2K Network Infrastructure - psrt of the Academic Series, April 19, 2004
This review is from: Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure (Academic Learning Series) (Paperback)
Cole and Steen have done an excellent job in covering not just the basics, but some in-depth review of How, What and Why.
This text is designed for the network designer and support staff that desire a better understanding of not only what protocols do, but how they can be tweaked to result in better performance. This is also a core text for the MCSE 70-221.
Nice coverage on DHCP, DNS, WINS, RRAS and VPN. I've used this text for reference in my college networking classes and it is a great supplement for the cirruculum texts. This explains, in depth, what our Thompson Course Technology lightly covers.
