This book gives great description of all the beautifully designed landscapes in the world. The pictures of each site are really helpful, plus it gives at least partial site plans of each landscape too. I am just going into Landscape Architecture and I found the book very helpful in showing different ideas for designing landscapes. It shows different designs all over the world. You can see and read about the different influences each place had behind it.
