This book will show the image spectrum (literal-evocative). As designer, I am looking for a book that can explain how can we do art direction for photographic assignment so we'll speak the same language. So this book is very useful for designer as well as photographer.Other topic that I found very useful is the explanation about how can we enhance the picture speak through combination of color, composition, cropping, typography and other elements. I also recommend to read Visual Language (also by Peter Bonnici). It is the best and the only book on Visual Language.
