The layouts in this book are beautiful. Lots of great tips on achieving these great effects AND details in the appendix. Experienced scrappers will like the help moving to the next level. Highly recommended!

What a spectacular book! Each page holds something new. There are so many projects that are recreatable, with only a tiny bit of altering to make them your own. A complete book full of eye candy. Eight artists come together to showcase some amazing work that spans between all the creative types. Plain and simple to complex collage. A must have :)

Not your average scrapping book,

To fully appreciate this book, you need to be artistic, or at least pretend to be. I was born with minimal talent as an artist, but I have developed my artistic sense as I aged, trying different art forms and expressions to counterbalance my awfully left brained life. Scrapbooking has offered me an artistic outlet like nothing else and this book might help you see what I mean. Scrapbooks in the modern sense can swing, unfortunately, from the maudlin, sappy crap of Middle America to pieces of high art. This book takes you closer to the art scene than the coffee klatsch. The only down sides of this book are:
1. It has other stuff in it besides scrapbooks- I don't really care or want to see altered CD cases or jars. Not my thing. 2. It is artistically narrow in its approach, riding the surf of the "altered" wave that is so popular these days. This is a style, I believe, that will pass. Not that there is anything wrong with this style. One problem with scrapbooking is the styles go out faster than hemlines, but what's a scrapper gal to do? Your best bet: try all different styles in your books!
