A leading authority on store design and visual merchandising, Martin M. Pegler has worked as designer, manufacture, display person, store planner and consultant in his 40 years in the business. He has lectured on the subject for industry and small business groups, at shopping centre and chains nationwide and internationally. Mr. Pegler is a former professor of Store Planning and Visual Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He is the author of more than 60 books including Entertainment Dining, Cafes & Coffee Shops, Stores of the Year, and Gourmet and Specialty Shops.
