Good Design Source,
By
This review is from: Designs of Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. (Paperback)
I'm a potter and always on the lookout for design ideas, especially from the English/Scottish Arts & Crafts movement. I was therefore overjoyed to find a source for photographs of the work of this somewhat obscure artist. The photos are mostly in black and white with some color plates and there are lots of them. On the negative side, the text is written in a scholarly style and is dry as dust. My biggest problem, however, is with the quality of the binding. Pages started to fall out the first time I opened it and my copy is now held together with a rubber band.
