A must for a great pan sauce.
Great for deglazing a roasting pan. Not just a kitchen tool, a true work of American Folk Art. Ambrosia Beetle Maple Wood is not only a mouthful to say, but an eyeful to see, BEAUTIFUL!!! Keep it waxed & oiled, it will last for generations.

Only OK
I purchased this spatula hoping for a high quality product. While this works OK, the quality is only fair. The quality of the wood is softer than I had hoped. I believe that if you want a sturdy kitchen tool and will last a long time, keep looking.

Maple is hard wood and the particular item I received had some fairly sharp edges on it - until I hit with some 320 grit sand paper.
