I am a mixed media artist and did not use this book a coloring book as it is sold but to obtain images to build on. Not living near the ocean I was unfamiliar with many of the sea shells and find this book a valuable resource for me to refer to for my art. I have several of her other "coloring" books and they are very well drawn as well. I recommend them for both adult relaxation in coloring the images as well as reference books for images.

This happens to be the first Ruth Heller book I have ever owned and it has been great fun! My 6 year old daughter and I love to color in it. The patterns range from easy to quite intricate. I enjoy using markers but many of the designs would look wonderful in crayon or colored pencil. The designs are realistic and could easily be framed if one would like to. I definately recommend this book to fellow coloring enthusiasts!

I love Ruth Heller and I love her designs. This is another great coloring book. My favorite thing about her books is the quality of the paper she uses. It is thicker, bright-white paper that you can't find in many coloring books (aside from the Dover Series coloring books). Anyways, I have been a huge fan since I was little and I still love to color with Ruth Heller. It is a form of meditation for me! Great Buy as always!!
