Good graphic designs for applique, embroidery, or painting
If you are looking for patriotic designs, this book has a good variety...from flags, eagles, statue of liberty, military emblems, airplanes and other vehicles. Great if you are making a "guy" quilt. Can be used for applique, painting, embroidery. You can scan the images to make your own digitized embroidery patterns too.

Not much help....
This is a book of line drawings of patriotic themes, such as eagles, the Statue of Liberty, laurel wreaths, etc. It is what you would expect to find in a child's coloring book. I saw this author on Alex Anderson's quilting show and was very impressed by her. I'll check out her other books, but this one has very limited use. It is not about technique or even quilting,...
