The book was well written with wonderful, descriptive writing. I could picture every house, building, and outdoor scene! The characters came to life in my mind. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it. It was easy to read because the story flowed so well. It was refreshing to read a suspense novel which I could highly recommend to anyone of any age. I can't wait for the sequel!

I found this book while browsing through Winepress Publisher's site several months ago. I unreservedly recommend I Desire Mercy to everyone! The offbeat, yet very realistic characters have endeared me to themselves in a way that few have. I love mysteries, and this one was well-plotted.

There is so much more to this novel! I appreciate the gentle spiritual lessons taught in an honest and imaginative fashion. And I found myself wanting to "know" Marietta, Brianna, Philip, and the other characters that filled my heart. Thank you, Sharon West, for using that wonderful gift you've been given to bless us! Looking forward to the next book..

I found Ms. West book to be one that held my interest and I am looking forward to her next book. It is refreshing to find a really good book with a Christian base.

Grafton, Lehane, George and now West. It is so exciting to find another excellent author in the mystery genre. Ms. West has given us a new character whose adventures I hope to follow for years to come. Keep up the good work!

Ms.West shows to her readers a very descriptive and enjoyable story coupled with inspirational passages from the bible. These bible passages seem to guide and influence the characters in the book through their adventures, and also can be adapted to the lives of the readers.

Ms. West has presented us with a non-stop page turner. Her writing is clear and crisp. If you are a mystery fan, you will love this one. I am making Ms. West one of my authors. Hope to see another one soon.

I usually don't read fiction, but I really enjoyed this book. The characters and their personalities were very well defined. I felt like I really knew them and was rooting for the "good guys". Marietta is a common ordinary person and easy to identify with. I was able to visualize Mulberry House and it came to feel like home, safe and secure.

The authur also did a good job balancing the fiction with Biblical principles. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.
