5 Blue Ribbon: "DESIRE FOR THREE is the first book in Leigh Brooks' DESIRE, OKLAHOMA series. A series involving a small town in Oklahoma founded entirely by people who had a 'desire' to live their lives as they choose without being judged by others in the community. I have to admit, I love this idea. As I read this book I couldn't help but feel a little envious. The men's adoration of the women in their lives and the protectiveness of every woman in the community really endeared this story to me. There's simply a sense of happiness in just being `you' that really captured my attention. Jesse, Clay and Rio are a wonderful trio who all deserve a happily-ever-after and kept me enthralled in each and every page of this storyline.
I'll now be eagerly awaiting the next story in this series - BLADE'S DESIRE, which is Kelly and of course, Blade's story. She was abused in her former relationship and Blade, a Dom, has his eyes set on her. From the sparks flying between these two in this story it should really be interesting to learn how they come together." -- Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies Reviews

Desire for Three,
By Kelly "Reviewer for The Sinfully Sensuous" (Littleton, Colorado) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Desire for Three [Desire, Oklahoma 1] (Paperback)
Jessica Tyler was a broken woman. She had lived with the cruelty and indifference her husband had inflicted on her for so many years that even after he was gone from her life, she didn't have any feelings left. She was an empty shell of the woman she used to be. When she visited her sister Nat, the change was so obvious, that Nat kept hounding her for the reason behind her transformation. Jesse didn't even know how to begin to explain how her life had gone so wrong.
Clay and Rio Erickson had both been burned by love. They had tried to make a life; be with other women and live apart, but now they knew it was impossible. They were meant to love and be with the same woman forever. They just had to find her. They had been looking for a long time, and when they were getting ready to give up, they were introduced to Nat's sister Jesse. It only took one touch for the brothers to realize that she was meant to be with them. Clay and Rio made no secret of the fact that they intended to claim Jesse. She was incredibly drawn to them, but was afraid of losing herself by loving them. When she agreed to stay with them, she was frightened by the feelings they brought out in her. She had never had this type of extreme response to any other man. Even though they were exploring their relationship in every way, she couldn't help waiting for the other shoe to drop, and for all this to be over. Just as Jesse starts to feel safe at home, the brothers land the harshest blow she has ever received by telling her to move out of their home. They no longer want to have anything to do with her! Things go from bad to worse when Jesse is attacked, and as she fights to save her own life, she wonders if she will ever see the men she loves so desperately again. A good read with plenty of steam and story to satisfy. Jesse is a woman that has never known true love before, and when she is on the receiving end, she is overwhelmed. Clay and Rio have spent years looking for the woman to complete them, and took no prisoners when they set eyes on Jesse. I expect the future installments from Desire, Oklahoma will be just as exciting!!

Small Town Erotic Romance - Desire Oklahoma,
By
This review is from: Desire for Three [Desire, Oklahoma 1] (Siren Publishing Menage Amour) (Kindle Edition)
This is the first in a series I love. Brooke's fictional town of Desire, Ok becomes a character all its own in this series. A great backdrop to a wonderful story. I added this one to my amazon Listmania list about Erotic Romances set in small towns. There's something about erotic romances set in small towns. Perhaps it's the dichotomy of the conservative public appearance and the naughty private reality.

Pretty good,

This review is from: Desire for Three [Desire, Oklahoma 1] (Paperback)
Definitely worth the Kindle download price. I would not pay the print price - it just wasn't that fantastic of a read. It was good, though. It would be nice if this place really existed, just brought down a notch. I liked that it was not a hard core dom/sub story. I have already downloaded the next book in the series and can't wait to read it.
