More About the Author

I have been writing erotica since the mid 1990s, exploring the pursuit of human sexuality in all manner of times, places, and situations--

within both body and mind, inside the confines of marriage and outside of them,

from the mammoth-haunted forests of prehistoric Europe and the fabled towers of Atlantis to the seedy brothels of the secret caverns of the colonized Moon,

from the forests and Gypsy camps and London back-alleys of Elizabethan England to the swashbuckling lesbianism of the old Spanish Main,

from the grounds of a modern Gothic castle to the dorm rooms of hesitant young co-eds of the American Midwest to the secret menage a trois of a seemingly staid suburbia.

As several thousand readers can attest, my books are lovingly explicit yet well written, with many a long, lingering tease. Sex in any of my writings may be pleasantly perverse, sometimes shocking, even confusing for my characters as they try to find their way, but it also is, ultimately, healthy and necessary and fulfilling, perhaps the very foundation of humanity itself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but certainly with potentials, April 30, 2001

This review is from: The Desires of Rebecca (Paperback)
Since I have a crush on submissives who enjoy serving their mistress unconditionally, I found the encounters with the captain the most exciting part of the book. This way the story leads from a "straight" lesbian pre- victorian novel in the start, all the way up to a non- violent and passionate slave/mistress relationship, and then to a supposedly deep love- relationship in the end. The story and the attempted older style of writing is fairly unconvincing, but somtimes very well composed. All in all enjoyable, but definately no wow!

3.0 out of 5 stars Rebecca tells a pretty wild tale., April 25, 2001

This review is from: The Desires of Rebecca (Paperback)
The Desires of Rebecca is the tale told by a young runaway who, because of her sexual orientation, finds herself in numerous sexual adventures, few of which end happily. The story begins with a little lovemaking session between Rebecca and her childhood friend after a nude swim in a cool river. The father of Rebecca's lover arrives and is disgusted and aroused by finding his daughter passionately making love with her closest female friend. Fearing punishment (it's not that kind of story) and a forced marriage to 'cure' her, Rebecca runs off (buck naked of course) to begin a new life. Our heroine quickly finds brief happiness with a lovely (and quite timidly curious) gypsy girl and her family (this is my favorite part of the book), but her fear of once again being caught in the act of 'perverse' love making forces Rebecca to flee onto the streets of 18th century London. There she falls under the wing of a seemingly kindly madam and from there into the arms of a pirate captain which leads to... As you can see the novel's story unfolds like sapphic Perils of Pauline. There is plenty of hot sex (apparently geared towards the guys) but the steam runs dry after Rebecca becomes a pirate, after that the book seems to run out of ideas as things become very rushed and perfunctory. Nonetheless I recommend it heartily just for the heat the cute gypsy girl radiates when her inhibitions are slowly (and I mean slowly, the author really lingers on the frustrated and playful desires) stripped away until she confidently seduces Rebecca. Good stuff, unrealistic as hell, but good.
