About the Author
Mark L. Crossley has over twenty years experience working and teaching in the field of quality improvement. His credentials include certifications from the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), a Reliability Engineer (CRE), a Quality Auditor (CQA), and a R.A.B. Certified Lead Assessor (LA-QS). He is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) having met the requirements of the Institute of Management Consultants. Mr. Crossley holds a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina and a MS in Quality Assurance from California State University. He is the president of Quality Management Associates, Inc., a consulting firm in Salisbury, North Carolina, specializing in the use of statistical methods for quality improvement, and he is a nationally recognized instructor for the American Society for Quality.

If you actually want to learn how to apply SPC and other Quality Methods, this is the book for you. What makes this book great is its ability to bridges the concept to application gap that so many books do not. Mark Crossley breaks each tool down using easy-to-follow steps and illustrations that guide the reader through the use of each tool.

Great! This book contains all the most important statistical methods that any quality professional might use in maintaining and improving their quality management system. All of the methods are listed in alphabetical order for quick and easy reference. Each method is thoroughly explained and the examples are a great way to familiarize yourself with each method. This book should be on every quality professionals bookshelf! I know I will be referencing it practically everyday.
