not just another workout book,

We are a group of female designers who have read this book (with a lot of laughs) and used it as a reference manual for our little workout group. We've already seen results, in both diet and exercise. We all love it and recommend it highly. It's so much better than anything we've ever read on the subject.

This book is amazing. All the advice is totally reality based and doable, for all women, not just the 20 year olds (who don't need it like we do anyway!). Great book.

I've read just about every get in shape book on the market. This one is the best. The author gets you motivated with her sense of humor and gets you going with good, basic information that works, really works.

On one hand it is a genuine book on fitness, and on the other an easy-to-read guide for those who know nothing or know some of the fitness programs available. Very funny, and injoyable to read. Very motivating, indeed.

Some good fitness advice and a humorous writing style are marred by too many homophobic remarks. After a while, her prejudiced comments made the book unreadable.

I did the artwork for this book. Ellen is a woman of great courage, humor and optimism. These qualities are all evident in her writing and are why the book works. It's contagious. Read the book - you will be laughing on the way to the gym, strong in your workout, and smiling at the results you will get.
