We are fairly new to the DS. We got one a month or two ago, and bought a few games for it. My kids are used to playing games on the ipod Touch, and at first, I was not at all impressed with the graphics and functions of the games we bought.

Despicable Me is the first new game that they've played on it, and to me it's a world of difference.

The levels are fun, and a little challenging without being frustrated. The game plot line goes along with the plot of the movie too.

I bought this game for my 11 year old,and she loved the way it started out.But then as the game progressed,it became very difficult even for her,and did not have the patience to continue playing.It appears that while the game is made for kids,it's more of a late teen to adult level as far as the game difficulty.She did love the characters,and thought the game would be more fun than fustrating,so if you are thinking of buying it for someone younger than 10,chances are they may be disappointed with the game play itself.

My kids LOVE this game! I always hear them laughing about it, or "oh no!"-ing about it or (oops) fighting over who gets to play it next. They LOVE it!

Bought this for my 6 year old for his birthday. He loves it and is able to play it without any difficulty.

This game is probably the worst game I've EVER played. It gives you no instructions, no help, nothing informal. I got this for my birthday from my parents and now i seriously regret that I asked for it. You touch the minions with the stylus and they move for you. And you gotta touch them again to make them stop. Whenever I play, the minion just goes the wrong way. So far I've only played this game like three times. Don't listen to other reviews where they review on what their kid's say. I know that the kid's are just trying to be nice and not hurt their parent's feelings. Bottom line, don't waste your money people.

The game review doesn't say anything ta ll about the game, which consists of choosing a minion and tapping the screen once to make him run, until he hits the wall and turns around, or climbs up a ladder. It is very boring.

Not at all as much fun as could be....with all the possibilitys and angles of wich to use... its just horrible in my opinion. Im sure some people will like this play style but when you have games like scribblenauts out and you bring this trash...comon. Its too difficult for small children ie. 6-10 and for any kids older its just too restrictive of play

I brought home this game, first on wii, excited to play it since the movie was wonderful. Well as soon as i started it i hated it. The tutorial is long and boring, but sometimes helpful. The game was just simply bad. Boring and confusing. Then i got the game on ds, i hated it even more. The game moves for you, doesnt give you help or directions. My advice is--dont get this game. It is a waste of money, we werent allowed to return it only for the same game on a different system. :P

Despicable me day. Took my Grandson (9 years old) to I Hop for Despicable me breakfast...then to see the movie and got this for his DS to continue the fun. He loves it!!

Unable to review as this was a gift for my granddaughter which she requested ! I can only assume she will appreciate same !
