4.0 out of 5 stars
Track titles wrong, November 21, 2006
This review is from: Dessau (Audio CD)
First of all the review - WaxTrax fans won't be dissappointed. I gave it 4 stars because there are three songs I am indifferent to, but the rest of the album I like.
Secondly and the whole reason I decided to post anything - the tracks listed here and other sites (including CDDB) are not in the correct order. I am also a big fan of Joy Division and Dessau's cover of Isolation is great, so you can imagine my surprise when the track called Isolation is not the cover, but then when I played Sun 90 I heard Isolation! Anyway, here are the correct titles:
1. Suffer = Party Zone
2. Thanksgiving = Beijing
3. Spinning on My Head = Unshakeable Remix
4. Move Seoul = Suffer
5. Skeletons by Nature = Thanksgiving
6. Isolation = Spinning on My Head
7. Cull = Move Seoul
8. No Way = Skeletons by Nature
9. Sun 90 = Isolation
10. Party Zone = Cull
11. Beijing = No Way
12. Unshakeable Remix = Sun 90

Worth buying for the Joy Division cover, "Isolation", alone, July 12, 2004
This review is from: Dessau (Audio CD)
This CD's out-of-print, but you should be able to pick it up used, like I did, for a few bucks. Fans of the 80's Wax Trax sound won't be disappointed, although there's nothing here that hasn't been done before. *** Also features the production and bass playing talents of Paul Barker of MINISTRY fame. Al Jorgensen, MINISTRY's main man, plays guitar on "Isolation" as well as some other tracks (at least I think he plays on some other tracks, I don't have the CD in front of me at the moment).

good industrial, great cover!, May 26, 2001
This review is from: Dessau (Audio CD)
Dessau is a good industrial band, not spectacular (I saw them live with Die Warzaw in the early '90s), but their cover of Joy Division's "Isolation" is excellent. It's worth checking out!
