In February 2003, Norfolk, Virginia introduced the world to the charming quintet collectively known as Mae. Not only was their debut album, "Destination: Beautiful" an instant success with audiences, but their live show proved their talent moved even past just writing alluring hits. Now, after nearly 2 years of non-stop touring, Mae are gearing to release, "Destination: B-Sides," their first recorded project since the release of "Destination: Beautiful." With 10 tracks of new and unreleased songs, live recordings, and even acoustic takes on old favorites, the album gives an inside look at the band's beginnings, as well as their transformation to the future.

Yet another awesome album by Mae!,

This album has a lot of re-mixes and live songs off their debut album, Destination: Beautiful. This Time Is The Last Time (Wave Remix), Sun (Acoustic), Giving It Away (Acoustic), Goodbye, Goodnight (S.M. Remix), This Time Is The Last Time (Live) all originally where introduced in Destination: Beautiful. I really enjoy the acoustic version of Sun... its very awesome.
Their music has mature a lot since then, and musically it sounds a lot better and just runs smoother. I loved Destination: Beautiful, but I have to say I like this album even better. A must have if you're looking for something to listen to that that is soft, yet not boring. That being said, some of the beats are a bit repetitive, like in Destination: Beautiful.

Despite what some say about this being a "Cookie Cutter" emo band, I must disagree. This CD speaks for itself, and is worth every one of the five stars I gave it.

Destination: Awesome,

First, I would like to say that Destination: B-Sides is NOT Mae's next CD. Mae's next CD is due out next March. Nonetheless, Destination: B-Sides is an awesome CD. While you may not love the song right away, they are good songs just to relax to and you may very well find yourself tapping your foot to the beat.
