Product Description

Destination Earthstar is a shooter for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). This shooter is a gem on a console that had no shortage of shooters. There are two segments to each stage. The first segment takes place from a first-person perspective. You move through a grid destroying enemies. Once the grid is cleared, an enemy base appears on the grid. Upon reaching the base, the games switches to a side-scrolling perspective and plays like Gradius. You can shoot in front and behind you in the side-scrolling parts, which is good because enemies come from all directions! This game is best for those who love a hard video game or that can’t get enough of shooters on the NES. Are you up for the challenge?

This game is interesting in the fact that the style of gameplay changes throughout the game. The storyline is confusing (no background without the owner's manual) but the gameplay is slightly above average. Nothing revolutionary, but it's still worth a try.
