Destiny Cards by Robert Camp is a good, old fashioned fortune-telling system. It makes no pretense of being a path to spiritual enlightenment. Its purpose is purely to foretell the future based on a person's birth date. The system assigns each birth date to a card from a conventional deck of playing cards. This is your Birth Card. In combination with your Result, Environment, Pluto, and Long-range cards, and your age, it is the key to your destiny. The system appears to be based on a combination of astrology and numerology. The author, however, tells us that it is "part of an ancient esoteric science that has been kept secret for centuries. Mystical orders that have been in existence since before ancient Egypt have carefully preserved its secrets totally intact to be released to the public when the time was right." Surely, I do not have to point out the silliness of the claim. Let's ignore that for now. Does it work? Since Destiny Cards is supposed to predict significant happenings throughout ones' lifetime, my husband and I were able to go back and check out milepost years in our own lives. The results were mixed, but more positive than negative-probably about 60/40. Some of the hits were, I admit, pretty amazing. However, the misses were equally off the mark. Other answers fell into a gray, "could be" area. Overall, Destiny Cards won't replace tarot or astrology, but it could be a quite serviceable fortune-telling system for some folks-and it would certainly be fun at parties. -- From Independent Publisher

About the Author

Ten years ago, Robert Camp discovered an ancient method of determining people's destinies. He has written five books revealing the secrets of the forecasting science featured in Destiny Cards. He also does personal readings for well-known celebrities, teaches seminars and frequently appears on television and radio talk shows. I am a Queen of Diamonds (7/3/1953). Because of the Ace of Spades in my Venus position Spiritual Spread, I have always had a love of secret knowledge and the esoteric sciences. I had a very difficult childhood and a lot of negative relationship and financial karma. I have overcome most of that through spiritual knowledge. I would recommend this book to anyone. Robert Camp could easily be the new self-help guru for the spiritually perplexed American. His system enables you to look at the issues, and challenges you are facing in your life and advice on how to turn them into positive experiences that will aid you in your growth toward a more fulfilled and rewarding life. Of course, on a less deep perspective the book is just absolutely entertaining in that you can look at your life and the lives of your acquaintances and see what's happening under the covers! Real life soap! Amazingly accurate. If you read this book you will want to get Love Cards also to help you understand yourself and the reason you pick your relationships. Last month I bought quite a few metaphysical & self help books to see what people had to say, Robert Camp goes right to the heart of the matter(s), his advice is practical and applicable, with instant results! (If you're ready.)I endorse all his publishings.

As I have searched for good astrological and fate-finding related books, I have never seen a book so simple and effective! If you like to know more about yourself and others, this is the book to have! This shows you how you deal with people in different times in your life, as well as what you can do to make the best of it! Use this book in conjunction with Love Cards and you're sure to be a better person for it!
