Very original story about a group of Magi that control the universe through a complex board game that gets out of hand when a cat knocks the game board over. Magic, monsters, and mayhem set in fudalistic times. Very original, but you'll be disipointed if you can't get all 3 books in the series.

This is the type of Fantasy, SciFi. writting that is fun to read. It combines the real world with a world that exsits only in the writers imagination. It consists of plots and sub-plots while weaving the story toghter as a whole. I bought book 1 in paperback in 1988 for .75 at a used book sale. I'am desperatly seeking the rest of the collection in this series If anyone who reads this knows where I can find them please Email me.
