Felix Cavaliere was the organist and one of the lead singers in the Young Rascals (later the Rascals), a successful pop/rock group of the mid-'60s. Since the group's demise, he has pursued a solo career. His first two solo albums were for the Bearsville label. 1975's Destiny features Buzzy Feiten, Steve Khan, Will Lee, Mike Brecker, David Sanborn, Joe Farrell, Leslie West, Elliot Randall & Laura Nyro. Wounded Bird Records. 2005.

His voice has remained the same as with The Little Rascals. Attended a Rock Festival a few years back at home in Nashville and one of the finest acts from years gone by was this artist...On stage with The Temptations, The Four Tops, the range of this artist and his history could have filled the entire show! Now living in the Nashville area, his music more mellowed, his music brings back many memories......ageless, voice unchanged, with a new slant on music of the 21st century.........

This is a great album. Anything with Felix Cavaleire's voice on it is going to be good, his is one of the great voices of music, along with Marty Balin. Felix's voice is as great as ever and the album is graced with the great Buzz Feiten on guitar. Flip Flop is a great tune with a great guitar solo. Destiny has great vocals, a little "disco" but that was the thing at the time. The rest of the tunes are all real good, great singing and playing. This is followed up with the next album "Castles In The Air" which is also real good.
