Clan of the Cave Bear,
By Katie Lugwig (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Destiny Mine (Paperback)
The book was good. The writing style was great. Good plot, good characters... But as I read this book, I was baffled; half of the content and details in this book seemed like it was transported from Clan of the Cave Bear series... Does anyone else think so?

A Wonderful Native American Adventure,
This review is from: DESTINY MINE (Paperback)
Janelle Taylor's "Destiny Mine" is a wonderful read. Her native American characters come alive on the page and pull us into the story to vicariously live through the traditions and trials of the period. Not only does she give wonderful descriptions of the land and nature, bringing it alive as it must have been in those days, but it encompasses a heartwarming love story that will capture your heart right up to the last page. If you like Native American novels, "Destiny Mine" is a must read.

Sweet Romance,
By Kalyan Snivas "a reviewer" (Whitehall) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Destiny Mine (Paperback)
This is one of the sweet romance books I have ever come across (I've come across some 300 odd). The character portrayal was done with very fine precision and with near accuracy. The romance between kionee and stalking wolf was real and tender. I am glad I came across this book. Good work Ms.Taylor.

My destiny was to read this great book!,
This review is from: Destiny Mine (Paperback)
What a cast of characters and awesome story! A female warrior. A wolf as her best friend and constant companion. At times, the animal seemed so real. Taylor chose the perfect hero for Kiownee. If this wasn't based on a historical person and events, it surely seemed like it. Nobody takes me to the Wild West past like Taylor.
