MYSTERY is a current French Canadian band formed around six musicians (Vocals, guitar, drums, keyboards, acoustic guitar & bass) and their eleven guests (Saxophone, flute, violin, cello, keyboards, choirs, etc.). Their style is somewhere between symphonic Progressive rock (For the instrumental parts) and AOR (For the vocal parts), thus evoking Belgian band NOW. The concept-album "Theatre Of The Mind" (1996) includes two long suites called "The Reality" (15 minutes) and "The Dream" (28 minutes), both divided in various parts. Released two years after on the Musea label, "Destiny ?" shows a refined Progressive rock with elegant arrangements and perfect vocals. Gary SAVOIE's predominant vocals are close to Steve PERRY's (JOURNEY), and are magnified by Michel SAINT-PERE's acoustic and electric guitars. And watch out for the great 15 minute suite "Shadow Of The Lake" ! Not to be missed
