cool book,
By Noybo Kay (Nowhere, Not Saying USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Destiny's Hand Vol 1 (v. 1) (Paperback)
I like the book. The artwork was wonderful and the concept is new. I haven't read a good pirate book for a while since reading Captain Blood-which I also liked. I can't wait for Volume 2 to come out. I hope it comes out soon.

A Good Manga Story,
This review is from: Destiny's Hand Vol 1 (v. 1) (Paperback)
I bought this book at the Scholastic book fair when it came to my school about a year or so ago. There are plenty of stories about male pirates out there, but a very few about girls. On the whole, I really enjoyed this.
The story is about Olivia Soldana, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, who can only look forward to arranged marriage, until pirate Captain Blaine of Destiny's Hand confronts her father's ship. Olivia decides become part of the crew of Destiny's Hand. |
