5.0 out of 5 stars Against All Authority--"Destroy What Destroys You"
By far THE BEST release by Against All Authority. In my opinion, you must hear this album before checking out any other AAA albums. (...)BR>Fast, hard-hitting, fully-charged punk ska with a political edge, their messages much like the legendary Dead Kennedys.
If you can find this anywhere, PICK IT UP. No matter what they charge you for it, it's worth it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Can someone please buy these guys a tuner???
I'd have to say this album definitely has the potential to be great. There's a lot of energy coming from the band, especially the vocals. But what immediately turned me off to this album is the horns. I don't think I've ever heard an album from a signed band that is as out of tune as this one. As soon as the horns start playing you can tell unmistakebly that they are not...

4.0 out of 5 stars angry punk with horns, March 20, 2003
... i first saw against all authority back in 97 with the skankin' in the pit tour. what fun. this band has the drunk-anthem singalong style to the words, an intense energy, horns, and some great ska songs too. a little bit of everything. if you like these guys' sound, check out some of the other hopeless bands, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Ska/Punk Out There, January 25, 2000
This review is from: Destroy What Destroys You (Audio CD)
This is really the best and one of the only true ska/punk albums out there. Against All Authority's aggressive ska/punk style features some of the fastest and most punk-like horns around. They're a great fast, in your face kind of style that makes you wanna get moving. Most of the songs are politically oriented, which are sung by a vocalist that gets seriously into what he believes. This is one of the best politically charged albums around. I would maybe even recommend this over Anti-Flag and Propagandhi.

5.0 out of 5 stars Against All Authority-Destroy What Destroys You, August 23, 2007
If you are a fan of Against All Authority, you should get this cd. If you are just getting into AAA, i would suggest 24 hour roadside resistance, or All Fall Down, Those Cds have that classic AAA signature sound. but this cd is extremely catchy, and has those angry, angst-filled lyrics that make you want to shout along with every song. buy this if you like fast ska, with sweet hooks and catchy horn parts. this was the first AAA cd i had ever heard, so when i heard their later cds, each one felt more and more powerful. if you own 24 hour, and All fall down, but like their heavier stuff, i would suggest either Restoration of Chaos and Order, or possibly their split cds with the criminals and common rider. if you like AAA in general, this cd is worth your money. and then when you go see them at a show, meet up with Joe and tell him they gotta play stuff off of Destroy what Destroys you and he'll be stoked that you even know of that cd. theyre great guys so if you do ever see them live, buy em' a shot or two, and buy this cd.

4.0 out of 5 stars !!!, January 25, 2007
this cd is defenitly not a let down, it sounds more the same as All Fall Down, not really anything like the Resteration of Chaos and Order...which i didnt like, mayb not too close to 24 Hour Roadside Resistance but whatever this cd is good, its got 22 songs, the mojority of which dont suck, some get a little repetative and pointless so i skip them but over all this is a good cd

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended, April 22, 2006
Against All Authority is an excellent band and this is an excellent CD. The lyrics are angry, revolutionary, and violent. Sure its a little bit rough around the edges but its so easy to listen to. Not to mention all the energy the album provides. There's 22 songs and they're all great. The album is a bit repetetive, as all the songs do sound a bit similar but still I just love the anger and "F--k the Establishment and kill cops" message of this album. This is by far the best AAA album, ignore all those idiots who reviewed "All Fall Down". 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ska, punkish great sound, May 28, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Destroy What Destroys You (Audio CD)
I have always been a great punk fan and when this CD came out I was skeptical but after listening to it for a while I decided it's my favorite album. They have a lot of talent for a punk band and even some new istruments (saxaphone, trumpet). These guys have no "bad" songs on this album. BUY IT NOW.

4.0 out of 5 stars INTENSE..., July 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Destroy What Destroys You (Audio CD)
Probably the best word to describe AAA. This is the first hardcore ska-punk band I've ever heard and it's a nice change. I love how in a lot of songs the lyrics and music are all hateful and then a horn riff comes in. The only disappointment is that the songs are EXTREMELY similar to one another; they basically have the same structure.

4.0 out of 5 stars FIGHT MUSIC, November 18, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Destroy What Destroys You (Audio CD)
This album is great fight music. AAA, blends a harcore punk attitude with some crzy horn riffs to get one violent, style of music. This brand of music is so incrdible. It brings to life anyone whos listening to it, or seeing them at a show. Onw word of advice. If you don't want to fight at a show don't go anywhere near the pit. Oh yeah, don't listen to this while you drive, it gets you speeding tickets. This is a must have album though.
