this album is fantastic. if you need something to put you in a great mood, this would be the album. it's pretty damn funny and gets you more and more hooked every time you play it. for those that think they have to pay 40 bucks to buy this used off some greedy *@#hole, this album was rereleased with bonus tracks on coldfront records. you can get that on here as well. it's much cheaper and you can get it new.

As far as straight ahead Punk Rock albums go, you just can't beat this. I put it along side The Vindictives "Many Moods Of The..." album for good, humourous Punk Rock. This album was re-issued, but I don't see it on here. It shows up as 'out of stock'. You can get it new though.

I bought this one used at local record store without ever hearing of the band. im now a huge sloppy seconds fan and own all albums. if you like punk, buy this album...

This is such a great cd. Definately in my top 5 of all time favorites. Almost every song is a total classic. This is their best work. See the world throught the eyes of a degenerate fat man - who's incredibly witty and irreverent. A+++++!

This is a great album for fans of sloppy, humorous, and not politically correct punk rock. The music is fast and furious, but with a nice poppy edge. The lyrics are funny, definently not PC, and remind me just a little bit of Queers lyrics. This album is great most of the way through, with a few stinkers here and there. Fans of fast, pop punk, or fans of early Queers albums should give this one a try.

the sloppies are definately one o the best (if not THE best) and COOLEST punk-rock band ever to came out of the U.S. (ok, maybe i forgot the Ramones...) This was their first album and EVERY song is an INSTANT 3-minute pogo CLASSICK!!! and besides the brilliant sound, i gotta say i just love those extremely COOL LYRICS!! (think GERMANY is my favourite, and of course HUMAN WASTE, but that one's not on this album...) Hey, what can i say? go and get it buster!!! i'll see 'em live next saturday(for the first time), together with the DICKIES!! YESSSS!!!!! SLOP-PY! SLOP-PY! SLOP-PY!

This is a wonderful example of Junk rock at its best. Fast, irreverent and loud. You just gotta love this album!

I'd really give Destroyed by Sloppy Seconds 2.5 stars. It's a fun album with funny lyrics, but it kind of gets old near the end. I pull this CD out every once in a while for some high energy three-chord slamming, but I rarely listen to the entire CD straight through and it goes back on the shelf not in my steady "heavy rotation" CD section. It's hard to be a joke band that people take seriously... so I think Sloppy Seconds would be pleased with a two start rating. They don't want to be complicated progrock like Yes, and they do what they do well - it just gets boring after multiple songs of goofball joke lyrics and repeated power chords. If you like the Dead Milkmen, Circle Jerks, Green Day, or Blink182 listen to Destroyed by Sloppy Seconds it's worth checking out.

This is one of the best punk I ever heard! It has really cool lyrics, superb guitars and interesting voice. I can only recommended this album (and also other sloopy discs). Dont wait and buy it NOW.
