5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing compilation, July 6, 2010
This review is from: Destroyer World: New Blood (Kindle Edition)
Disclaimer: The first story in this compilation is mine and I also did the cover artwork for most of the Ballybunion books, including this one, so take that into account.

This compilation is the ultimate thank you from an amazing writer. Warren Murphy and Dick Sapir created the Destroyer series many years ago. Mr. Sapir died and Warren is in charge of the series. For him to give fans a chance to have their stories published is classy, but Warren's always been a classy guy. To find so many fans who can write so well shows the class of his reader. But don't think of this as fan fiction. Each adventure is a mini-Destroyer, focusing on different aspects of our heroes (and villains). Some of the stories are so well written, you'll be wondering if there's a pseudonym or two sprinkled through.

Seriously, while waiting for the upcoming Destroyer movie, you need to buy this book as well as Destroyer World: The Movie That Never Was

5.0 out of 5 stars Bloody Good Anthology, January 1, 2011
This review is from: Destroyer World: New Blood (Kindle Edition)
After years of reading the adventures of Remo Williams in The Destroyer novels, creator Warren Murphy gave fans a chance to contribute to the history of Sinanju with this anthology.

If you're a Destroyer fan and didn't get a chance to pick up a copy of the paperback before it went out of print, you'll definitely want to download this e-book.

This collection of shorts has a surprising range of stories dealing not only with the main characters in the series, but a few readers may have forgotten. Like any collection, you'll probably enjoy some of the stories more than others, but it's well worth the price of admission to reenter the Destroyer World. Highly recommended.

My contribution to this work, Operation: Desert Destroyer, concludes the anthology.
