Assesing U.S. Africa Policy,
By Dewayne Boyd (Detroit, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Destruction of a Nation: United States Policy Towards Angola Since 1945 (Hardcover)
The United States has for too long negelected the interest of the people of Africa and focused too narrowly on the political, strategic(business)interest to the detriment of the continent. This work spells out in detail how a failed U.S. policy played a key role in the destruction and morass of Angola. The "Cold War" is over, maybe now we can get it right! |
