Everything you see is what you get. The device works perfectly and the bracket supports the radar. The protector bag is a little to small for the radar and this causes the bag to not be able to close completly. In terms of the batteries and charger, they work fine. So far the device has cut off on me once but the radar beeps and the text display tells you that the device is powering off so you are aware of it. After it cut off, I put it back on and it has not cut off again. All in all it is worth the purchase.

I bought this detector for use on my motorcycle. It performs well and has ample warning time, at least in Ka and X bands. I do get the occasional false reading but overall this is a good valued product. However, regardless of what the packaging says this detector DOES power off on its own, sporadically. Not too much of an annoyance but an annoyance none-the-less. The batteries that it comes with don't hold a charge very well either.
It is also important to note that I live in a very rural area, devoid of traffic lights, police, and any other variable that may impede rapid progress. In other words I don't live in or near any cities or high traffic areas and use it only as a back-up for common sense.

Buyers of radar detectors should understand that bogeys have instant-on radar/laser guns, so if you're alone on the road or at the head of a pack, he's nailed you before you can take evasive action. Solution: stay well behind or at the back of a pack and your detector will alert you to the hazard a head from the gun's beam scatter. Therefore, you only need a basic detector, which is what this one is. This detector's shield against detector detectors is a plus feature.
