Simply stated, Mitch Ryder is the most underrated performer ever to come from the U.S. He may be the only one worthy of holding a candle to the British Beat Boom of that time. In my opinion it doesn't get any better than his Detroit rock. However if you really listen to his greatest hits you will surely want to own everything he recorded. This collection comes as close as I have found to compiling songs from his early days that may do him justice. This is truly a must have for any fan of good 60's rock.
