I bought this as a gift for a female friend who was looking for an adjustable hat so she could pull her pony tail through. She totally loves it. I was originally concerned about the color, as sometimes very dark blue looks black online. But yes it is black. The hat is a little ridged but nothing a little wearing won't fix.

Attention, this cap is dark blue and not black. I was disappointed but I kept it all the same. Perfect fit for me.

The quality of this hat a good, just like every other hat that you will order, but it is not black. I purchased this hat because it looked black and the reviews said it was black. It is not black. If you are looking for a good navy hat, then it will be great for you, but if you want a black one, this is not it.
