4.0 out of 5 stars I laughed really hard.
There is a lot of crude humor in this movie, so if you are easily offended, I wouldn't suggest watching. Otherwise, if you are like me and can relax and handle the humor, this is a great movie for that. I laughed so much that I had wet eyes at one point. I was slightly disappointed in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and I wasn't even going to rent this one, but I decided to...

I like the Deuce Bigelow character--a low achieving guy who has a gift for genuinely connecting with others. There were enough laughs in this for me to recommend it. In particular I liked the political humor.

However, there were some uncomfortably ridiculous moments and some gross-out humor that I did not enjoy and felt detracted from the film. Despite this, there is a pervasive sweetness to the film and to the Bigelow character that makes me like him anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comedy Classic for ADULTS!!!!, April 11, 2006
Rob Schneider reprises his role as innocent Deuce Bigalowe. He goes to Amsterdam at the behest of conniving TJ, the pimp who is losing all of his "man-whores" because of fear of a serial killer who is murdering male prostitutes. TJ talks Deuce into taking on difficult cases ("I'm Deuce Big-Biggest Lady I've ever seen!) and working his magic. Can Deuce solve the mystery before the International Man Whore Awards? Deuce also meets a nice girl - but she has a secret.

There is some VERY raunchy but very funny humor. The most raunchy part is a Russian woman who lost her nose in Chernobyl but wears a veil because she now has something else in its place. See what I mean by tough cases?

The funniest scene involves a cat, fuzzy cat toys, and TJ.

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny But Revolting, August 12, 2005

Deuce is back and, depending on how bad your sense of humor is, you'll either be giggling like a loon or walking out, as I saw three people do this afternoon at the first show at the Metreon here in SF. If you stay, you'll hate yourself, but you'll have a big idiot grin on your face and a good appreciation for the lows that actors will sink to.

Well, if you thought that Deuce was happy when the first picture ended, happily married to the right girl, and you wondered how they were going to bring him back for a sequel, worry no more. Right away it develops that his marital bliss didn't extend past the honeymoon when his wife was eaten by Jaws! Now, lost in sorrow, he's a likely target when TJ (Eddie Griffin), even funnier than in round one) lures him into Europe where he says the appetite for white American man meat is huge. You know what that means! TJ's living in a purple houseboat on the Zuyder Zee, labelled, Da Pimp in Da Sea. Kind of like Jessica Simpson not knowing if Chicken of the Sea is chicken or tuna. The movie starts out dumb and just gets dumber.

And Europe isn't any safer for our boy Deuce than the good ole USA! For one by one someone is killing the great man ho's of Europe--Deuce's Euro competition. Each of the dead gigolos has a weird kind of lipstick kiss imprint on their faces, and CSI works out that this lipstick is no longer being made or distributed.

The low point of the movie is when Deuce goes on a date with a woman who had been in Chernoybyl during the big atomic power plant meltdown. Now she can't get a date because she doesn't have a nose. Instead what she's got in the midle of her face will gross you out for sure. It's the kind of sight you don't usually see on the screen, except in a porn movie. You will not believe your eyes, and some people in the audience got physically sick! Guys, you've all seen this appendange between your legs, but few but Deuce has ever dated a girl with one bobbing out of her nasal cavity.

I felt sorry for the actress playing the part. It is thoroughly disgusting. However, hopefully they paid her enough money to justify the fact that for the rest of her career, she'll be known as, oh she's the one with the penis nose in EUROPEAN GIGOLO.

The laughter rocked the ceiling of the auditorium. At times you couldn't even hear the dialogue. What's next for Deuce and TJ? How about shipping them to a harem in the Middle East as they did for Bing Crosby and Bob Hope back in the days of their Road Movies.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not For You if You Take Things Too Seriously!, February 3, 2009
First off let me say that even though this is definitely not the funniest movie in the world, it's not that bad! I am also not one who is easy to please with a film either. I think some people obviously took this film too seriously and if you did then it wasn't for you in the first place and you shouldn't have watched it. The Deuce films are silly, tasteless, vulgar and juvenile in spots but they are SUPPOSED to be! No one claimed these films to be the uptime of upstanding comedy! Sometimes comedy can simply be entertaining on it's own level.

I think that too many people are thinking that the Deuce films should be on the level of other standard comedies. Well they aren't and you gotta respect the films for what they are. For the naysayers who took this film too seriously, when you saw that Rob Schneider and Eddie Griffin were the stars what in the world did you EXPECT? An oscar-winning comedy? Please! You shouldn't be surprised at what you got. Both of these men are known for making bad, semi-funny films. But that's what makes them stars! They got famous off of being silly!

Some folks need to relax and get off their high horse. If you expected more from these two then you need help or a life. Rob and Eddie are the kings of silly comedies so expecting anything other than that would be a disservice to yourself.

I found this sequel even funnier than the first one. I admit that the first had more of a background and even though it was silly, it could be taken a little more seriously than European Giggilo but NEWSFLASH, these films aren't supposed to be taken seriously! Just watch them and be entertained and you'll enjoy them.

If you're looking for an Amy Heckerling-clever-like comedy, then this is not for you! If you just want a to watch a film with some laughs where you can rest from thinking and just chill to get away from all the BS in the world today, then Deuce is a decent enough film for that. You take it with a grain of salt. If you're someone who expected more than what you got then you missed the bus.

I hope they make another one! How you like them apples?

3.0 out of 5 stars A Rehash Of The First, But Not Bad As So Many Claim, July 1, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This sequel to the outrageous Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo brings back our beloved Fish Tank cleaner/Fish Taker/Occasional Male Prostitute, only this time it takes place in Amsterdam. it seems there is someone killing all the male prostitutes of that area. Its is up to Deuce (Rob Schneider) and T.J (Eddie Griffin)to find out who. Many cameos from the previous movie appear here, so that's good. The humor here is well balanced, but not as outrageously funny as the first. Plenty of the humor has been recycled from the first movie. but besides that it is a decent sequel that can be enjoyed by fans of the first or by others who have not seen the first. Worth viewing, and perhaps owning if you are a fan.

MY PERSONAL RATING: 3 OUT OF 5

2.0 out of 5 stars Similar as first one but worse, December 13, 2007
I actually liked the first Deuce Bigalow movie and thought this one would be good, too. Well, it was similar, but not in a good way. It's almost as if they ran out of ideas and decided to just bring in some from part one. Also, I didn't like that some of the characters from part one got killed off. Sure, I had a few laughs, but overall it just wasn't all that good. I'm selling mine, if anyone wants to buy it...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good comedy, May 9, 2006

I really enjoyed this movie, it was really funny and had an original story line to it. It all depends if you can appreciate gross out toilet humor which this film is full of. Yes it's cliched and you've seen it a million times in other films, but it still manages to do it right. If your looking for great acting and creative humor than this isn't for you. But if your looking for just something to laugh at, than this is worth renting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crude beyond most anything you've ever seen!, December 8, 2005
By
Freth (Delaware, OH United States) - See all my reviews
This movie surpasses any other movie as far as crude tasteless humor, but that's why I'm a fan of Rob Schneider and comedians of the same ilk (namely Adam Sandler, Eddie Griffin and Norm MacDonald--the dream team of comedy). These guys aren't afraid to do anything and it shows in this movie. It's over the top, tasteless and darn funny, but you have to check your morals at the door and let yourself have fun--otherwise you'll not make it through the movie. It's meant to be irreverent and crude. That's the whole point. If you expect anything more you're setting your bar too high for this film. I laughed a lot at this movie. It was a guilty pleasure. Rob, Adam, Eddie, Norm... if you read this review--hats off to you guys for having the guts to do the most tasteless film ever. You guys came out smelling like a rose. I must say I missed Adam Sandler being the "you can do eet!" guy, but he was showcased as a gigolo so I guess he's redeemed himself.
